I don’t know whether I would have got so far without her friendship and guidance.’ Simon Hall
Esther Supernault put her life on the line for her beliefs. In Blue Diamond Journey, she shares her secret gift of insight and guidance from the world of spirit. Born of a Celtic and Native American heritage of seers, she narrates how she received incredibly detailed, sometimes humorous messages from her dreams, visions, and meditations—messages that she then validated with solid medical research. Day by day she was guided to specific foods, helpers, therapists, doctors, and books to heal her breast cancer—without chemo or radiation. Every person is part of an interconnected web as vast as this universe, rather than a collection of parts. Our innate, inner soul contains incredible healing wisdoms. Real healing honours this web of interaction—far beyond scientific logic or fact. What causes an illness will also help heal it. All the answers we need to heal are within us, and Esther demonstrates how to listen to those answers. Her journey slowly uncovers a rare diamond in the rough—the dawning evolution of a seer, visionary, and wisdom keeper. With her gifted, gentle healing messages, Esther weaves a marvelous, magical, true tale in Blue Diamond Journey.
Illustrated with the Tarot of the Spirit deck painted by Joyce Eakins. Centered on the Qabbalistic Tree of Life, this symbolism clearly explores the Minor Arcana as a representation of the four components of life: spirit, emotion, intellect, andbody; while it reveals the Major Arcana to be the keys to our emotional response patterns to the symbolic universe in which we live. Includes seven monthly meditations, individual readings, and layouts.
Hundreds of new Tarot decks have been produced in the late twentieth century, many of them based on the structure and images of Arthur Waite and artist Pamela Smith’s Rider-Waite deck (1910). The continuing popularity and influence of the Rider-Waite deck makes it a standard for identifying, categorizing and analyzing contemporary Tarot and other meditation decks. This work of art history analyzes such decks in relation to conventional art styles and movements, including Symbolism, Surrealism, the modernist “grid” and the low/high value hierarchy, and postmodern art movements and concepts such as the dissolution of the modernist value hierarchy, Pattern and Decoration art, and collage. It also examines them in relation to literary concepts, including the novel, utopias, and popular genres. The author’s analysis is supported by numerous illustrations, including the Rider-Waite major arcana cards juxtaposed with examples of their counterparts from more recent decks.
Using the Grimaud Tarot deck of Marseilles - the direct descendants of the earliest hand-printed designs and the basis for most of the later esoteric decks - Knight provides an in-depth introduction to the tarot deck. He presents nine lessons that combine basic instruction in the mechanics of divination with magical visualization techniques. Perhaps most useful for students of the tarot are Knight's answers to questions raised by former students of his acclaimed Tarot Course. Illustrated. Index.
