Dr. Buckley skillfully explores many of the "hidden" but powerful prophecies in the Bible. For example, he points to a prophecy in Isaiah 18 that states that a third temple will be built in Jerusalem. Referring to the story in the Book of Esther he points to a prophecy about hanging the ten sons of Haman after they had already been killed. He believes that the execution of ten top Nazis following the Nuremberg trials fulfilled that prophecy. On another subject, did you know that Satan, before his alienation from God, had a home on the planet Rahab, which was the fifth planet from the Sun in our solar system? As a result of the "war in heaven" God destroyed this planet and its remains form the asteroid belt that circles that region of the heavens. The destruction of Rahad is recorded in the Bible. His very clear Biblical exposition defangs some cherished doctrinal issues such as dispensationalism, dual covenant, restoration of Israel to its homeland, and the rapture. This book offers a fresh perspective on the Bible. John W. Buckley attended the University of Washington where he received an MBA (1962) and Ph.D. (1964). He then served as a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for thirty-five years. During those years, he authored fourteen books and monographs. His father, Edward Alexander Buckley, was a deeply spiritual man who instilled in John an abiding belief in the Bible as being the inspired Word of God. So John studied the Bible and other religious writings in depth and began to formulate the views expressed in this book. With the encouragement of relatives and friends, he has now put his thoughts in writing.

Somewhere along the way the “American Dream” replaced the biblical expectations of life following Christ. We insist that a loving God will provide a trouble-free life. When this does not happen, we blame God for not keeping His side of the bargain. But...God never promises a rose garden! He promised us eternal life. He promised us forgiveness of sins. He promised us He will never leave us or forsake us. Isn’t it time we got real with the real God of the bible? We are being led to publish this work to help Christians unveil themselves before God! In a world that seeks to dictate the terms of His involvement, a correct view of God is critical. Unveiled is about taking God at His Word, and is both challenging and encouraging to us in our walk with Christ. It is challenging because of its direct appeal to have us consider where we are in our Christian walk, relative to where God would have us be. Unveiled is encouraging; in spite of the many ways in which we fall short of God’s glory, His grace remains. Unveiled brings us back to a God-centered focus. Plain-spoken and practical, Unveiled benefits anyone at any level of spiritual maturity. Spiritual growth occurs day by day as we encounter God. With devotions, combined with prayers and Scripture readings, Unveiled helps you in that encounter. By God’s grace, your faith will grow, your life will be changed, but most importantly, our God will be glorified. “Unveiled is one of the most unique devotionals I have seen. The reader is stimulated to read God’s Word and to contemplate complex issues. It is a great tool for growing in the faith and knowing God more intimately. I find it to be a user-friendly devotional with practical concepts for dealing with everyday challenges.” —Lt. Gen. William G. The picture of grace came alive as puzzle pieces through nine states begin to unravel a web of deception. Meeting the redeemed in Ocean City set the path of visiting areas that held much history. The jewels in the rough in man's eyes were the crown jewels in the kingdom of Heaven. Satan did not like the ministry of amazing grace. What do the Pagans, the Illuminati, and the Freemasons all have in common? They all ran into a path designed by the one who is able to expose the things of darkness. As a servant for the Lord, I encountered all these forces that are against Jesus. The intriguing, mystifying journey, hoping to encourage the broken, the lost, and the weary, stirred up the forces of evil that tried to hang on to the vessels he wanted to continue to control. The Bride of Christ stood with victory as the separation of the sheep and the goats was being done before my eyes. The purpose of the journey I encountered was directed by God with vigilance to warn his beloved bride.

The idea that the universe is not made up of solid matter and that all that we perceive as objects —from atoms to stars— are really waves, has been around for a long time, going back to ancient Greece. As you can see, the existence of matter-waves is not a new concept. Ever since the physicist Prince Louis de Broglie formally suggested them in 1924, the modern scientific world has accepted the concept as a possibility but has not been able to rationally accept it for various reasons. Einstein hinted to the existence of matter-waves —while perhaps unaware of it— with his formulation of Special Relativity, which implied mass-energy equivalence. How can an object contract into an infinitesimal length as it approaches the speed of light and then go back to normal when it slows down without catastrophic structural damage? Spacetime may contract, but how is the structure of matter linked to spacetime so that it also contracts without damage? Einstein states that mass somehow transitions to energy and vice versa, not explaining the details of how and ignoring that energy and mass are such very different observables. The standard reasoning is that they are different manifestations of the same thing. But what is this “thing”, this substance that remains so infinitely malleable under special relativity and such a chameleon under mass-energy equivalence? Waves come to mind, but although they may be very malleable, can they be infinitely malleable and yet also have the property of forming rigid structures in order to pose as matter? What if matter and spacetime are both the same, synthesized by waves, and the substance that is waving is not a substance; does all of the above then become possible and rationally acceptable? Reality Unveiled explores, explains and justifies that possibility.

Near the turn of the 20th century there were two contemporary theories of relativity developed, the Lorentz Ether Theory (1892-1905) and Einstein’s Special Relativity (1905). Strangely enough both theories predicted the same surprising empirical results; time dilation, length contraction, etc., relative to velocity, with Lorentz assuming a motionless unobservable ether and Einstein postulating an unimaginable spacetime. Special Relativity Unveiled presents an alternative theory and reveals why they were both empirically correct while conceptually flawed.

Paul C. H. Lim offers an insightful examination of the polemical debates about the doctrine of the Trinity in seventeenth-century England, showing that this philosophical and theological re-configuration significantly impacted the politics of religion in the early modern period. Through analysis of these heated polemics, Lim shows how Trinitarian God-Talk became untenable in many ecclesiastical and philosophical circles, which led to the emergence of Unitarianism. He also demonstrates that those who continued to embrace Trinitarian doctrine articulated their piety and theological perspectives in an increasingly secularized culture of discourse. Drawing on both unexplored manuscripts and well-known treatises of Continental and English provenance, he unearths the complex layers of the polemic: from biblical exegesis to reception history of patristic authorities, from popular religious radicalism during the Civil War to Puritan spirituality, from Continental Socinians to English anti-trinitarians who avowed their relative independent theological identity, from the notion of the Platonic captivity of primitive Christianity to that of Plato as "Moses Atticus." Among this book's surprising conclusions are the findings that Anti-Trinitarian sentiment arose from a Puritan ambience, in which Biblical literalism overcame rationalistic presuppositions, and that theology and philosophy were not as unconnected during this period as previously thought. Mystery Unveiled will fill a significant lacuna in early modern English intellectual history.

In 1992 the massive files of East Germany's infamous Ministry for State Security, the Stasi, were made publicly available and thousands of former East Germans began to confront their contents. Finally it was possible for ordinary citizens to ascertain who had worked for the Stasi, either on a full-time basis or as an "unofficial employee," the Stasi's term for an informer. The revelations from these documents sparked feuds old and new among a population already struggling through enormous social and political upheaval. Drawing upon the Stasi files and upon interviews with one-time informers, this book examines the impact of the Stasi legacy in united Germany. Barbara Miller examines such aspects of the informer's experience as: the recruitment procedure; daily life and work; motivation and justification. She goes on to consider the dealings of politicians and the courts with the Stasi and its employees. Her analysis then turns to the way in which this aspect of recent German history has been remembered, and the phenomenal impact of the opening of the files on such perceptions of the past. The Stasi Files Unveiled: Guilt and Compliance in a Unified Germany offers important new perspectives on the nature of individual and collective memory and is a fascinating investigation of modern German society. Barbara Miller graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1991 with a degree in German and psychology. She taught and researched in Germany and Austria before completing her doctoral thesis in Glasgow in 1997. She is now based in Sydney, Australia.
